Fast Forward Labs Research

Experiment with new algorithms and frameworks, and think about where those will fundamentally change business in the near term.

About

Which new algorithmic capabilities are about to change the way business is done? Do ideas in research papers translate to advantages on real-world data? Are new libraries mature enough for production? The only way to find out is to experiment and build. Fast Forward Labs, a machine intelligence research lab in Brooklyn, did exactly that and reported on the “recently possible.”

Our Work

We worked on topics published as reports with accompanying prototypes demonstrating AI capabilities. For example, we reviewed the state of the art for labeling training data with active learning, and experimented extensively with transfer learning for natural language processing workflows.
